One of the first classes I took in my Master's Program was about the health and good nutrition of babies and children. Studies have shown that because children's bodies are growing quickly during development they need the right vitamins, nutrients and liquids. If babies, toddlers and children are given healthy options during mealtimes they will have stronger minds and bodies. Unfortunately, if they are not given healthier options, they may have a future of physical and mental health problems. Does the socioeconomic class a baby is born in to affect how well they eat?
